TikTok’s owner, ByteDance Ltd, has funded virtual reality headset maker Pico and mobile game maker Reworld. Some mobile operators are already creating their own metaverse platforms.
Graphics chip company (Nvidia)
Computer graphics chip maker Nvidia Corp plans to launch its Omniverse platform. Unity Software provides a part of the Metaverse infrastructure of this company. Video games could be the first industry to seriously monetize the metaverse.
